1951 - 2013
Jeannie Reyburn Clough passed away peacefully on Jan. 29, 2013. Jeannie was born to Joe and Lucy Reyburn in Walla Walla on June 28, 1951. She attended Prospect Point Elementary and Garrison Junior High. Jeannie graduated from Walla Walla High School and attended Washington State University.
She worked in hotel catering, insurance, and mortgage businesses in Hawaii and Seattle. In 1997 she married Don Clough in Bellevue. She and Don have lived in Seattle since. Jeannie was a very caring and compassionate person. She was loved and admired by everyone who knew her. She was regarded as a great member of committees or staff due to her exceptional management and organizational skills. Jeannie dedicated volunteer time to Cancer Lifeline to show support for her sister, Carol. She was also active in Sahalee Country Club programs and activities. She belonged to Sahalee Country Club Book Group, Sahalee Women’s Club and The Red Hat Society. These activities provided immense enjoyment for Jeannie.
She is survived by her loving husband, Don at the home. She is also survived by sisters, BJ Grefsheim of Lodi, Calif., Joann Britain of Walla Walla, Carol Peterson of Walla Walla; brothers, Herbert Reyburn of Walla Walla, Sonny Reyburn of Walla Walla, Ron Reyburn of Seven Bays, Wash. She is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews. Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents.
