1918 - 2013
Dorothy was born in Milton on Dec. 15, 1918. She died in Everett, Wash., on Jan. 7, 2013.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and Merwin Harstad of Everett; her granddaughter and her husband, Leslie and Anders Harstad-Bell; great-granddaughter, Iris Peace Harstad-Bell, of Anchorage, Alaska; and her granddaughter, Emelie Harstad of Lincoln, Neb.; as well as three sisters, Marjorie Smith of Ellensburg, Norma Fletcher of Clarkston and Joanna Bell of Dayton.
Dorothy is remembered for her devotion to family, her love of children, her love of gardening and flowers.
Graveside interment to be held at Mountain View Cemetery, Walla Walla, Thursday, Jan. 10, at 12 p.m. Memorials may be made to Seattle Children’s Hospital Foundation, M/S S-200, PO Box 5371, Seattle, WA 98145-5005.
