Definitely not a Walla Walla Sweet Onion. Blumer failed at his attempt to break the Guinness world record of eating a whole hot onion in less than 48 seconds.

Food Network Canada star Bob Blumer handily bested the previous mark, but was denied in a not-so-sweet onion-eating attempt.
WALLA WALLA -- A new Guinness world record food challenge was set Sunday while another remained unchanged, the later failure most likely due to the fact that the food being consumed was not a soft, succulent Walla Walla Sweet Onion.
