With adults milling busily about behind her, a young girl reaches for a book to thumb through in a window world of her own at the Walla Walla Public Library. Children's author Suzanne Williams was at the library today as part of the Terrific Tuesday program that runs throughout the summer. Next Terrific Tuesday (July 28) will be "Maskerade" where stories are told wearing masks and participants will be allowed to make their own masks and share their own stories. July 21, 2009

Summer reading programs begin at the Walla Walla Public Library

The city pool won't be the only place children can make a splash this summer. The Walla Walla Public Library is kicking off its annual summer programs that incorporate reading with indoor and outdoor fun.
