Photo detail

Along with the tech eye of the video camera mounted on the wall to the right, School Resource Officer Kevin Braman keeps watch on kids as they exit Lincoln Alternative High School. Braman generally goes outside just before the end of school bell rings and chats with exiting students at day's end while keeping a vigilante, sun-glassed eye open for any gang-related activities. Back in his office, the multiple video surveillance cameras positioned around and inside the school help him keep track of events that he's not physically present at. May 26, 2010
