WALLA WALLA — Not a lot has changed for the Peach Basket Classic since last year’s edition, and that’s probably a good thing.
The 19th annual Classic wraps up Sunday with 36 teams winning division titles on a scorching hot day.
Thirty-six teams claimed division championships during the closing session of the 19th annual Peach Basket Classic 3-on-3 basketball tournament that wrapped up Sunday afternoon in downtown Walla Walla. In all, the tournament featured some 295 teams, according to director Scott Adams. The participating groups braved court temperatures that rose as high as 140 degrees, tournament volunteer Sean McKillip said.
