Whitman College's MacKenzie Hughes arches high into the air for the hair ball header against visiting Whitworth during first half action Wednesday afternoon. Even though Whitman outshot Whitworth on the day, the Missionaries went down to a 1-0 defeat in the Northwest Conference soccer opener for both schools.
