As car after car motored on by, the enthusiasm at this Tausick Way Kool-Aid stand waned considerably Wednesday afternoon. The season for such sidewalk sales may soon be over for the year. The National Weather Service says a weak front moving across Washington will bring a chance of showers Friday and Saturday to Eastern Washington. After a long stretch of hot, dry conditions, weather experts say the front is the first sign of a seasonal shift to autumn weather.
