DeSales girls fall in opening round of Hardwood Classic
SPOKANE — Free throws were the difference here Thursday at the Spokane Arena in opening round state Class 2B Hardwood Classic girls basketball action. DeSales made 2-of-7 and Morton-White Pass connected on 15-of-17, and the Timberwolves marched into today’s semifinal with a 35-31 win over the Irish. Morton-White Pass faces Reardan, a 60-22 winner over White Swan Thursday, tonight at 7:15 p.m. for a berth in Saturday’s state championship game.
