Wind turbines south of Touchet appear to shimmer as they catch the last light just before Monday’s sunset. The sun was a welcome sight to the Walla Walla Valley after several days of snow, sleet, rain and temperatures hovering in the freezing range. That will change for the rest of the week with more springlike temperatures in the high 50s and 60s and lows in the upper 30s, with rain in the forecast Wednesday, but partly sunny days through Saturday.
