Progressives eschew individual rights

This paragraph from a talk by Edward J. Erler should be used to litmus test every nose-wiping bit of invasive legislation coming from President Obama and his sycophants. It sums up the thought from Ronald Reagan that the scariest 10 words in the English language are, “I’m from the government and I’m here to help you.”

Carbon dioxide obsession causes real issues to be missed

Kennan Mighell (Climate change most severe problem of all time, Nov. 17) is justifiably concerned his grandchildren may never “have the opportunity to see a glacier up close.” Earth was (naturally) ice free 35 million years ago. We have no way of knowing that this will not happen again.
