WALLA WALLA -- The Walla Walla Gun Club has received a State of Washington Firearms and Archery Recreation Range Program (FARR) grant totalling $23,782, according to an e-mail to Bob Bloch, the club's secretary-treasurer, from Dan Hawes, FARR's representative for the Eastern Washington region.
According to Bloch, the funds will be used to upgrade the club's target throwing equipment and will replace four old-style hand-set trap-throwing machines with four brand new, state-of-the-art automatic throwing machines, and four brand new sets of voice pulls.
