Sykes expected to lay off more than 300 people Friday
More than 300 employees are expected to be laid off, but there is some hope jobs will return.

MILTON-FREEWATER - Milton-Freewater's largest private employer is expected to lay off more than 300 people Friday, bringing a November announcement about pending lob cuts to fruition.
Sykes Enterprises Inc. has said the job cuts are due to the cyclical nature of contracts at the call center. A corporate public spokeswoman was not available for comment this morning.
