BURBANK — A Kennewick woman was killed this morning after her truck collided with a tree, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Tammy L. Johnson, 48, was pronounced dead at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Pasco about 11:18 a.m., following the 10:05 a.m. crash at Grain Terminal and Second Avenue in Burbank, according to a WSP press memo.
Johnson, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was reportedly heading north on Second Avenue when she left the roadway to the right and struck a tree. She was driving a 1982 GMC pickup. It was unclear if alcohol or drugs were a factor, and the crash was under investigation.
