WALLA WALLA - Close to 140 fathers and roughly twice as many daughters filled the gymnasium of Garrison Middle School on Saturday night for the Walla Walla Parks & Recreation Department Father & Daughter Valentine Ball.
The event is one of the department's more popular offerings, and sold out again this year, said Parks & Recreation coordinator Angela Potts.
Along with dancing, numerous contests and prizes were also given throughout the evening.
"Usually if they come one year they keep coming back, that is until the daughter gets to be to old and they don't want to go with dad," Potts said.
