WALLA WALLA -- A home's garage was destroyed in a fire Monday along Boyer Avenue, authorities said.
The fire was reported shortly after 4 p.m., at 1428 Boyer Ave. Firefighters from the city's Fire Department found the garage consumed with flames.
The garage was not attached to the home, and all residents of the home were outdoors as crews arrived.
A Fire Department press release stated the fire involved a lean-to attachment at the back of the garage.
The fire also consumed a wood fence and damaged a neighbor's swimming pool, according to the release.
Damage to the garage was estimated at $3,600.Investigators haven't yet determined the fire's cause.
