Walla Walla teen in chase faces burglary, firearm charges

WALLA WALLA -- A youth who allegedly ran from the scene of a vehicle crash and into a residence without permission earlier this week has been charged with two felonies in the Juvenile Department of Superior Court. Ricky J. Palomino, 17, of 258 Willard St., was charged Thursday with residential burglary and first-degree unlawful possession of a firearm. Police said Palomino was a passenger in a van involved in a vehicle pursuit by a Walla Walla police officer near Ninth Avenue and Alder Street Tuesday afternoon and bolted after the van struck a parked vehicle on Willow Street.
