Washington Games bring regional tennis talent to town
About 70 athletes from across the region will play in the junior tennis tourney this weekend.

WALLA WALLA — About 70 junior tennis players from the Northwest will participate in the Subway Washington Games tennis tournament hosted by Whitman College this weekend.
The tournament is sanctioned by the United States Tennis Association. It will have 12-18 year-old boys and girls from across the Northwest, including 13 local players.
On the boys side, Cameron Davis will play in the boys 18 year old challenger, Colton Nosworthy in the boys 12-year-old challenger and Erik Dohe, Malcolm Gabbard, Cole Woelfle and Mark Van Dyke will play in the boys 14-year-old novice events.
On the girls side, Tianna Cummings, Chantel Desjarlais, Emily Schueller, Rachel Schueller and Rosa Tobin will play in the girls 16-year-old challengers. Presley Peck will play in the girls 18 challenger.
