MILTON-FREEWATER -- "Letters to God," a film based on a true story of an 8-year-old-boy who suffers from brain cancer, will be shown at McLoughlin High School, 120 S. Main St., at 7 p.m. on Saturday.
The free event is hosted by an interdenominational group and is open to all, said spokesman Larry Nafziger. In the family friendly movie, the young boy sends letters to God, touching and changing the lives of those around him. "It is a story of struggle and hardship and is a story of hope," Nafziger said.
