Long-time friends Sharon Smith (left) and Mary Bell (right) joke and laugh with each other while peeling bullion cubes to help make a large batch of minestrone soup in preparation for a Soup and Pie lunch at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. The two have been coming to help with the lunch for many years together and chat just as much or more than they work but it all gets done.
