Walla Walla City Council race a nail-biter
Incumbent Dominick Elia is holding on to a second place finish in his race with Mary Lou Jenkins and Paul Mobley. Jerry Cummins and Dick Swenson appear headed to a showdown in November after the other primary vote.

WALLA WALLA -- The results for City Council Position 7 so far have Mary Lou Jenkins in the lead with 1,361 votes; incumbent Dominick Elia with 1,310 votes; and Paul Mobley with 1,262.
The results for Position 4 have incumbent Jerry Cummins in the lead with 1,766 votes; Dick Swenson with 1,289 votes; and Jim Hackett trailing at 816 votes.
