WALLA WALLA — With five competitive rounds under its belt this fall, the Whitman College women’s golf team has jumped into the national rankings kept by Golfstat, which administers computer ratings and rankings used by NCAA national championship selection committees.
Whitman is No. 12 in NCAA Division III team scoring with an average of 82.64 per round. The Missionaries sit just in front of Middlebury (82.75) and Amherst (83.20) colleges.
