Budget woes...what budget woes??? In the world of union rose colored glasses, money grows on trees!! Let's not save where we can and have inmates manufacturer uniforms at $1.00 an hour when there are union workers out there looking to butt in and make them for $30.00 - $40.00 an hour! Who cares about all of the services that are cut or jobs that are lost due to budget cuts...as long as the unions get theirs.

Georgia? 2009? is that really a relevant comparison? nope. inmates have been producing uniforms for decades. union just wants to push their agenda and get a clothing allowance to raise salaries by having officers walk around in tattered, ill-fitting uniforms so they can pocket the cash.

union argues the loss of offender jobs risks security because of idleness, then suggest that idleness be increased by closing the uniform factory. if that's not talking out your union label, don't know what is!
