Maybe you should have made a better product and not charge so much for junk. People should not have a job in a field that they are not able to produce a good product. That’s how private business works, if your product is bad you go out of business and are out of a job. So maybe C.I. should have worked harder at making a better product, with better material, quality inspections and not charging more money for what can be bought cheaper elsewhere. Your product is terrible and the tax payers should not have to pay more money for an inferior product. And C.I. should not take jobs away from businesses that operate in Washington. A private small business should be able to grow and employ other Washington citizens who need jobs. But C.I. has forced the State to buy just about everything from them at much higher prices. Where does all this money go, when the inmates are paid pennies? How come a private business can pay someone a living wage, medical, other deductions for an employee and have a better product and cost less than what C.I. charges State agencies using a labor force that makes pennies an hour?
