Five-year-old Sophia Salazar found herself running out of snow as she reached the bottom of a plowed pile of snow from one of the parking lots at Edison Elementary late Wednesday afternoon. Piles of snow cleared from parking lots are one of the few remaining footholds of the recent winter storm and Salazar, her brother Canon and grandmother Avela Salazar took advantage of the remnants for a few final runs.
