Offensive outpouring not enough for Wolves in loss

PORTLAND — Despite their second-highest offensive output of the season, the Walla Walla University Wolves came out on the short end of a men’s basketball shootout here Friday afternoon. Multnomah Bible College, paced by Gian Cook’s 33-point game, defeated Walla Walla 105-96, sending the Wolves to their 20th defeat of the season against four victories.
