Thank you Mr. Beck! I've said it a thousand times, but it's worth saying again. Since the churches pay no taxes they have no say in what our law makers do. They need to butt out!

You can tell these low-lifes this all you want, but remember, they only listen to what their special book says. They are not allowed to listen to anything else, nice try though!

I am actually not a narrowminded person..I really can't afford to be, but it really gripes my behind to hear all this trash talking about gay marriages from people it won't have any impact on.Christians are always going on and on about gods love, and judge not, but they are not being champions of that theory or lifestyle.I have never waivered in my beliefs or my conviction that gay people can, should and will eventually be allowed to marry. Why is it so onerous? Don't you think that we see straight marriages as equally gross?? At least we are not contributing the the divorce rate.I doubt we really will. We want it bad enough to nurture our relationships.

CaptainWW: We won't start with your grandiose name (but it is pretentious). Narrow minded thought refers to folks who CHOOSE to refuse to acknowledge the civil rights of all citizens. Homosexuals vote, volunteer in our community, donate monies to their churches/causes, pay taxes, and raise children (just like you). I support your right to hate based on religious freedom or homophobia. But you might want to think about the Westboro church's philosophy and how it relates to what you believe. Hope you have fun at the Powell childrens' funeral CaptainWW.

Okay "Captian", lets talk about what it means to be narrow-minded. The dictionary defines narrow-minded as "lacking tolerance or flexibility or breadth of view". That definition would include none of the commenters you named because we believe in doing what is right regardless of what we are told, not doing what we are told reagrdless of what is right. We believe in thinking outside the box and changing our opinions based on constantly updated information. We listen to the ideas of others and consider their value. You are the narrow-minded one and I'm guessing, a very right-wing christian. Anyone who is too afraid to look outside the bible for guidance is narrow-minded. If you are going to follow any of the bible, you should be required to follow every last detail. Not one christian that I have ever met follows the whole bible. They all call it "the word of god" and then take it upon themselves to determine which parts are relevant in today's society. If you believe in god and you cherry pick the bible like that then you are a hypocrite and a pathetic human being.

I think you all are going through identity crises.

Nice come back Captain. What you basically said was "Nuh-uhh!". I can't speak for others but I have put a lot of conscious thought and research into who I am and what I believe. It would be helpful if you would explain exactly how we are narrow-minded. So far all we know about you is that your mind can only handle one sentence at a time.
