The city or County needs to kick it in gear and get some pickleball courts built.
The UB needs to learn that public entities are different from private entities when it comes to privacy issues related to personnel. When public entities are sued left and right these days, it's understandable to want to err on the side of caution.
Who are you to say it's not the truth? You don't work there anymore and only getting your information from disgruntled current employees...info that is probably a tad jaded.
Of course it's in the Seattle paper. They also own the U-B. I seriously doubt Sheila Hagar gives a rats ace about this story, but is being directed by the owners to report on it.
What firestorm??? I've yet to see this non-story mentioned once on the national news networks. I've friends coming to town this weekend for spring release and will have to stay with me as all of the hotels are sold out. Nobody cares what a Hewitt staffer said and WW will in no way suffer.
The U-B is desperate for stories these days. This and grease in a yard does not make for front page news.
Because someone has a religious view where they don't agree with your lifestyle does not make them "haters" and "idiots". You have now discriminated against them for what they stand for.
So why comment on something that is "cloudy" to you?
The amount of yellow is minimal compared to the billboard size of the "mural".
Part time officials ( and 2 who just don't show up) don't have the time invested to make critical decisions. Road design should be contracted out to specialists.
