So your ok with "Timber Wolves"; a native species instead of non native "these other wolves"? What other wolves? Don't all wolves hunt, eat, raise wolf pups? Please explain the difference this would make to the outcome in Idaho. Am I wrong, I was under the belief that wolves naturally take the easiest prey, usually old, young or sick leaving a healthier more robust elk herd. It is true in Yellowstone the whole eco system is more vibrant, balanced. What is different about Idaho? I'm serious, trying to find real facts. Anybody........Thanks.
Has ever there been a civic treasure worth saving and improving that 90% + are voicing support for it!? The polling is now over 600 UB instant votes. Pay attention Council, for heavens sakes!
Stop your madness! Council, do the right thing!l
Sounds like this is Common Sense. The aviary is the towns diamond in the rough.
One step at a time, Allen.
Is there not a single heavy player in town willing to put up a sizeable donation? How many Wineries are here making a killing!?
There must be a few. Just sayn'.
Yeah ,Really. Still fuming.......
Every Family member; Sister, Nephew, Brother in-laws, Mom, Dad and Friends visiting from Seattle, Lynnwood, Renton, Vancouver, BC and Denver have enjoyed the aviary! We proudly took them there. Not EVERYONE wants or can go to a winery. You are destroying years of tradition and the lives of beautiful creatures.
Selfish, short sighted and incredibly smug are the Council'5'.
Really? A unique gem- if a bit tarnished will be thrown away because 5 council members say so! The heart and soul of this community is being destroyed because there was not more guts from you in finding a way to bring the aviary back to health. Shameful! Absolutely in shock.
$100,000 to close it down. Did I read this correctly?
We worked hard and selflessly on yard sales for the aviary as 100's even 1000's of other citizens pitched in. In numerous way's. For several years!
City Council '5' should renounce this act and rethink their actions. It is not too late.
In this bold new era of 'controlled legalized recreational pot use'; Bans will only create a Hodge-Podge of jurisdictions, legal here, not legal there.........It will be a continued field day for the illegal pot trade and the Kingpins will laugh all the way to their banks!
Are we going to be serious and try to control and tax pot or let the old broken system rule?
If I remember, it didn't work at all.
The majority of Washington residents want this 'pot industry' to be controlled, taxed and in a legal adult only system. Get serious AG, renegade cities and counties. Be part of the solution, not tired old ........NIMBY'S!
The makeover; 'repurpose' of the building definitely makes it a new 'tony address'!
Restoring the beautiful bones of an old brick edifice can only add to Walla Walla's history, then and now! A job well done. Amazing!
Ladies you should always MAKE a guy wrap it up if you're gonna play, or pay the piper.
Guys your manhood is not diminished by being smart and respectful, wrap that Willie! Respect yourself and your partner.
Allen, I heard you speak at the open forum several weeks back.
I indeed believe you are capable and eager to be what we need for our town.
Seems like it should be a no brainer, but wait!
A closely trimmed (sounds neat and tidy) beard to me, a reason to fire someone? Really? At the core was the man's deeply held religion of Islam. It's a necessity to grow and keep his 'trimmed beard' as required by his Muslim faith. Never is it stated in this law suit that he fell short in his duties as a security personnel for the security company.
-Segway to Richland, Wa. and the continuing battle between same sex couple denied flowers from a private company serving the public claiming their right to not provide flowers because of their religious beliefs,(disagreeing) with providing flowers to a same sex couples wedding all the while providing flowers for others weddings if they are, ... heterosexual couples. I think I understand the difference, but honestly this is a tough one.
I just don't get it why we can't treat each other civilly, period.
Provide the flowers, they did not want nor ask to marry in your church!
Let the guy keep his neatly trimmed beard.
Grow up! move on all ready!
