Trolls don't grow up! They are not civilized; half empty deep dark hidden scum hiding under the bridge of anonymity jumping out only to hit and injure people pouring out their most venerable emotions. As a brother to a much loved twin -so far away in her mind due to deep depression(mental illness and alcoholism) I feel for the Williams Family. I will always love my twin.
Remember most human beings have great love and understanding at the very least...
the trolls, keep trying to injure. They're pathetic.
Keep the faith, good people. My spouse and I send out love to the Williams Family and to others injured along the way. Love conquers all evil.
The guy admits to molestation and rape of a child. A Child! You have got to be kidding! He got what he deserved. The poor- oh ...'I'm a victim' VICTIMIZED a child! Life sometimes serves up just the right Karma, Dude. He's a convicted rapist/molester of children. He pleaded guilty and now the creep is whining that 'he' was..... RAPED.!? What The f-------
OMG. Hope you don't get a penny, Bit----! Because that is what you are now! Many times over. No pitty, period!
True. Two good friends of ours are in the wine industry here: the husband makes $16+/hr; with his wife making even more. They both completed programs at the Enology Center and worked over in the Seattle area first than came over to be close to a Parent, here. They even put money back into the local WW community by purchasing a new home near Worksource off Tietan. There are good paying jobs within the 'wine industry.' Taking a Segway moment,
perhaps the people of WW have spoken and have decided against their Aviary. I think in the future if it is indeed thrown into the heap of what was and what could have been, the Aviary will be truly lamented.
The $15 min. is incremental from 3-7 years. There will be a bit of stress and discomfort, but all in all I think it will be a win win. Seattle is very expensive; the increase in pay will help pay those ever skyrocketing rents- with money left over to go back into the local businesses as well. Here in WW $15/hour would also be welcome. Almost everyone I know barely get's by, regardless of their status. Only this year did I achieve a full time job,(after 7 years) with better pay- not $15/hr, but way better than my last job,(by far)- even after 3.5 yrs. there. I am very grateful. My spouse and I even got a loan to remodel our home. We get a new upstairs dormer and the construction co. get's our new source of $$$. All because we felt we could afford after my pay increase. What goes around does sometimes come back around.
really, is this true. Why are we so ready to let the aviary just 'fly away?" I think this will be a shame. Years ago Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo was suffering as the city withdrew tax dollars. But concerned people, citizens rallied: levies and admission charges came to be and it is now a lovely local and tourist attraction. World renowned in many aspects. Our Aviary could be so much, if only the city and perhaps some HUGE winery would step up. Put a name on the aviary, you know; 'Naming Rights. Why not?
So the arsonist blames the reason he started the fire on his problem drinking!? "I drank a cheap bottle of whiskey" he say's- and don't remember anything after that! Right, except to travel to the bar where up to 700 people were out dancing and enjoying their friends........ I have a gut feeling he was a hateful person, plain and simple. He was alert enough to bring in a substance that he first used to dowse the stairway which he than lighted with matches clearly seen in video clips!
Had he been successful the toll of human tragedy could have been mind numbing.
He is a trouble maker and a nut and I'm glad he got 10 years. Should have gotten more!
I'm pretty sure the national weather service uses 30 yr. averages......I know, I KNOW!!!... I don't really get it either. Thirty Years!? Some curve, right. It is relative somewhat, to longtime residences.
Anyway- when one reads, "records" date back to 1890 for example, what does that really mean? Were temperature gauges accurate as today's? What happened when Seattle changed it's official location from Seattle Lake Union to the airport, (I think sometime) in the late '70's. Seattle's official weather records are recorded from Sea-Tac, not downtown. There are unofficial readings from "Boeing Field" The UofW, South Lake Union, Capitol Hill .........most are all a few degrees different. All I can say G&C: as I last checked todayd it was 90 at Sea-Tac and 101 at WW airport. Time for a cold drink!
I thought, why not just for fun check out in (rainy cool) Seattle if my Family was actually telling the truth! My In-laws I assumed were embellishing the weather temps there. Turns out they had reason to complain. Remember, few have air conditioning. Ugh, and they do have humidity even on the sunniest days with the lakes and Puget Sound.
Their July handed them the second warmest or hottest relatively speaking... 80.4* at Sea-Tac airport.
Their hottest July; 1985. Interestingly enough both this July and in 1985 in each cities airport locations were their hottest and second hottest. Maybe the big crowded city, Seattle and little 'ol Walla Walla can get along after all! The weather is always a good place to start!
I like your 'just enough' sarcastic thinking....you are, by the way- spot on!
How old are you!? We're all seeing a temper tantrum. Again. Sigh.
Vapid might even come to mind.
