Wow, messed up reading you. I apologize and stand corrected.
When I re-read after I posted I felt so stupid. Now I can say welcome to WW.
Just a reality check, let's see who can figure this one out!
I think you are much smarter than the 'usual suspects' that jump on so many of us. This will be interesting to see who jumps, I mean pounces first!.........I know they are chomping at the bit.
Really (not you) the siders, like jumper spiders, who's first? Come on .....
Huh, really. Get a Life. Sorry. Really. New from where........?
I have no fear. Sorry your negative try here won't work.
Right on. Yeah, well said!
You have my 'lifestyle'; how I conduct myself at home, work and with my family; Husband, siblings and my daughter and grandkids confused with my sexual orientation.
They are not the same.
I'm gay, you're straight? What gives....... So what.
Marriage Equality is coming 'round soon. More citizens support and understand the reality of commitment and love regardless if it is between gay or straight Americans.
Bigotry is something all together different, too. Some people really are very bigoted against gays, women, minorities you name it.
The reality that I embrace means the diversity of this great nation in all it's forms.
Some find this scary and fear it.
Personally I love it! We are a nation often regarded as The Melting Pot.
In Canada where I lived in Quebec and British Columbia, we are fondly regarded as A Mosaic of Many. So as I see it-
If you are only tolerant of me because I'm gay,o be it. That is your choice of which I accept. I can't, believe me- I won't loose sleep over it!
It is certainly however, not my lifestyle. You are getting these two mixed up. My lifestyle; yours, anyone's is how they live, work etc. My sexual orientation is who I am, like being attracted to other males. My Husband would be the simple answer. I have ton's of female friends, some I love dearly. I'm just suggesting, but I think if you looked at me or my relationship or any other gay or heck straight couple as your own.......your own experience...it would make life perhaps a bit smoother. For you. For me. I'll do the same.
Look, I really want to give her a pass because Paula claims, swears- she only used the 'N' word one time, decades ago. She now makes a point that all people should be treated equal..........She went on and on. We all saw the headline news.
What I'm more interested in is this lawsuit against her, now. For bullying and demeaning of her staff in a restaurant. She is in the real world today. We all should be better than trashing other people! With this said, I still believe that
NO one should be hung out to dry before they have had there fair time in court.
I'll reserve my judgement and I think everyone should have- at least until then.
-Still, really one time only? How many of us have not used racist or demeaning words towards others different from ourselves? Everyone including me!. Shame on all of us......... Have we grown, however- and accepted that people are of many different backgrounds and that does not mean BAD!? Heard of diversity, people!?
We should all pause and really look at our inner selves and the treat others the way we REALLY want to be treated. Dignity, fairness, equality might be a good start.
I really like Paula. Hope She comes out of this mess better for her fans, but especially for herself and family. If not then society will remember her not for her folksy southern style, smile and delicious high cholesterol foods, but instead that she was a bitch. I for one am 'cautiously' hanging on for her. Naïve, perhaps.
You're right, I believe. It is a 'step' in the right direction. People who don't drive still have the opportunity; indeed the right to register to vote. Laziness and apathy is alive and well if one chooses!
We can't fix ....encourage everyone to vote in a one piece fit's all scenario. This is after all a democratic based system. True, there must be interest and a desire to vote. Some, sigh.....- just don't care.
'Til then the simple majority and sometimes the minority will decide EVERYONES futures.
Thanks for the insight, fatherof5. As a Father of 'one', Amanda, who is 37 years old and along with my two grandchildren........
It is obvious to me that 6-7 billion people must be putting a small bit into the global warming scenario. Why do some people fight this tooth and nail? You now, we are part of the natural cycle which with all the other earthly natural cycles are adding to climate, global change/warming. Why so adamant against reality?
Really.......I just can't figure you guys out. Sigh. Do you detest those who are moderate and reasonable. Yeah, right........
Natural cycles and solar and 'other cycles' are indeed in the for front of Earths warming. We are ...humans causing activity and climate change; a part of that, natural 'other cycle' as noted by and supported by both Mr. Robles and Namvet60. Why not get
together on some issues, that make...........sense?
