If Mr. Cooper is elected, does he really believe that there won't be any dissension or division in the Sheriff's Office??? There will always be a few that don't like the current situation, just as there are a few in the Sheriff's Office that currently support Mr. Cooper for Sheriff. Sheriffs and Commissioners are often times at "odds"...across the border in Umatilla County, I can recall Sheriff John Trumbo and the Umatilla County Commissioners were often times at odds over budget issues, et cetera. As far as I am concerned, Sheriff Trumbo is one of the best Sheriffs Umatilla County has ever elected...and his successor, Sheriff Terry Rowan is another excellent Sheriff (by the way, Sheriff Rowan has endorsed Sheriff Turner for re-election...they work together in a significant manner to protect citizens on both sides of the border). Trust Mr. Cooper?? He hasn't earned the trust, in my opinion, of citizens as has Sheriff Turner...I don't believe that Mr. Cooper has any greater ability than Sheriff Turner to bring people together (as if there is the great division which I do not believe exists)...Sheriff Turner is one you can trust to get the job done, to perform his job with vision and purpose. The citizens of Walla Walla County should be grateful to have John Turner as Sheriff.

Stupid is..stupid does...perhaps Mr. Sanchez and the rest of the "legal" citizen activists need to return to the classroom to get a clear understanding of what the term "illegal" means.....no way, no how......if they (children are included) are "illegally" in the USA, they should return to their "home" country for educational assistance!
