Sloppy writing on my part: "... run against one of the two longest-serving school board members."
Mr. Filan doesn't trust the school board. It's time for him to run against one of the two remaining school board members: Anne Golden or Cindy Meyer. He just needs to choose one. Simple.
Thanks! The school district's Facebook response to my inquiry said that the other three were from out-of-state (then it ought to be easy to name them). Hopefully the search for the superintendent will be more transparent.
Who were the other finalists?
I'm optimistic that we'll first invest in the sciences and other curriculum areas and later worry about the soft components such as character building. Please vote yes on the science building.
"Sadly, it appears that Mr. Filan will find a way to passionately complain about any district project, even if it is both similar to and cheaper than what he suggested they do just one year ago."
It appears that years ago, the school board made Mr. Filan furious. Several superintendents later and with new members on the school board and he still won't let it go so he continues to hold children hostage. And the Union-Bulletin prints EVERY letter -- logical or not.
CMR would do well to skip the scripted talking points and help bring a CR vote to the House floor.
You must respond with a letter to the editor! Thanks for looking into that.
Fatherof5, thank you. I'm again disappointed that the U-B prints each and every letter. Does the editor edit?
