Both my parents (Red and Ina Dalton) were regular customers and part time workers there in the 50's and maybe 60's. The cook, Mel, would make 'finger steaks' just for me, or so they said. I'd also have a Roy Rogers or a Shirley Temple cocktail. I spent a lot of long, boring hours there, in the 'restaurant' side while my parents were in the 'bar' side visiting and drinking. wow, thats been a long long time ago...........................
