You and I know Obama is not black but there are vast numbers of people who see him that way and will not vote for him based on that fact alone.

For the record, I hate both parties. I think the whole system needs to be burned to the ground so we can start over.

There is a huge difference between telling a lie and wanting to do something but not being able to. Many politicians promise things without the knowledge of what it really takes to fulfill those promises. That knowledge can only be gained by being the president. Once in office, things are much more difficult than they appear to be from the outside. I don't think President Obama lied. I think he was just over-ambitious.

It's amazing what people will make up just because they don't want a black president. President Obama is from Chicago where they have other corrupt politians so he must be corrupt too? Is that what you're saying Mr Bosley? That's quite possibly the most idiotic thing I've ever heard! JnJRit07, I think BOTH "out of context" and "fact checking" are appropriate here. The president would get a lot more done and we would all be better off if the GOP would stop blocking his efforts every chance they get. The best way to prove an idiot wrong is to let him have his way and if the GOP thinks President Obama is so stupid and wrong they need to butt out of everything and let him try his ideas without interference. Only then can they say his policies truly don't work. The GOP is stealing the gas out of his lawn mower and then blaming him for the grass being too long.

If I were the one trying to help restarin her and she bit me I think the police would've had to stop me from beating her bloody! That is beyond disgusting! I can only imagine the diseases she might have passed to her victim.

The biological process which is haulted by an abortion can hardly be called a "baby". A baby can live outside the womb. Maybe instead of misinforming the public and trying to control women's bodies you could focus some of your energy on getting the churches to stop telling people that condoms and other forms of birth control are immoral or otherwise bad. I think people who are against abortion should have to take in and raise the unwanted babies.

commonsense 1 year, 10 months ago on No, pot should not be legal

Every person I know who wants to smoke marijuana does. The laws that are in effect do not keep people from smoking it so I don't know how anyone can say that the problems caused by pot will be worse if it is legalized. The main benefit of legalizing pot is that the money spent on the "war on pot" could be spent on worse problems like meth addiction and gang violence. Also, it would free up space in the jails. Tons of resources are wasted on enforcing marijuana laws when it's less addictive than alcohol and tobacco, both of which are legal. Peanut alergies kill more people every year than does maijuana. Are we going to outlaw peanuts next?

The money she allegedly stole and all the money spent investigating, hiring her replacement, etc would have helped the budget problems in the sheriff's office big time. They need to make sure to change the system of oversights so this cannot be allowed to happen again.

commonsense 1 year, 10 months ago on The blood of Jesus Christ is precious

You say all of this as if it's the absolute truth. The problem is you weren't there and so you depend on a very flawed account written hundreds of years after said events, by dozens of men. I think it should give people doubt that the religion they see as "the truth" just happens to be the most common in the region where they were born. If Christianity is the one true religion why are there so many other choices? Why are the articles on religion in the UB only about Christianity? So many questions and no answers that make any sense at all.
