Maybe he should support sports programs and the school more in the community. An example would be the baseball team. You can't just ask for money without giving something back to the community
Are surveillance cameras normal in a house to keep tabs on your teen boys? Mom said he used an arm lock not that he pulled away and was injured. I'm going to be curious to see how this all ends up... What story is true and what is BS. There are definitely some issues here but I don't know all the details. I know this...if I was the kid and I had cameras in my house to watch me....I'd go to the game... and then move out!
What does constitute abuse then? Does he have to break it? Seems to me this would constitute abuse. Also it is a little creepy to think someone has to put up cameras in their home to keep tabs on his son... Sounds like this officer is a little paranoid and thinks he runs a jail at home instead of a home... JMHO
I agree...Mr. Payne should and probably does know what the policy is...that is why it is crazy that they didn't do the policies with the New Athletic Director and JV Football Coach. Maybe the principal isn't a good fit, and maybe the superintendent doesn't know what is going on, or maybe he does. What I do know is that there are too many things going wrong in College Place to just let it go. The community wants action and change because it is really obvious that the people in charge are just not getting it done and are not following through on promises made. Don't take my word for it. Ask around, ask teachers, parents, students, and community members who have had contact with them. You will see.
BuckBuck and Nextgenpub you obviously have no idea what is going on in the school district. Look into it because if you do, you will come away with more questions than answers on why certain things are done. This goes way beyond what is in the newspaper. There are some very serious issues that will bring down the school if not fixed. The people who are working toward a solution are dedicated to CPHS and want it to get better. The frustration is that it is falling way short on many levels.
We can fund a pool but getting a better school is out of the question...
Going to a religious school or a school of faith is a choice not a right. Being a member of the WIAA has its perks and it has its downfalls. Sacrificing for your belief is always rewarding. Please don't throw out the discrimination word.
Poll was probably taken on the west side. Take that same poll here in the east and it would be different I'm thinking.
God bless and good luck. Praying...
Little League fields are just a little ways away too along with a softball complex that hosts tourneys during the summer and soccer tourneys. Not a good idea... WWCC would be a much more foggy... place.
