This chick disagrees with you. I don't know when you think 'fiscal responsibility' kicks in, but I learned at a very early age (Grade school) what the value of a dollar is and how hard I had to work for it. I just happened to work on a farm and knew those dollars did not come easy. If these high school students do not know 'fiscal responsibility' by now, maybe there should be taking a class on it.
My name is Bill Anderson. Would the real Bill Anderson please stand up?
Maybe the cost is 10 million just in case there is any left over,so something else may need to be done on the list of wants? And...what happens if not all the funding is used? Does it go back to the taxpayers? I don't think I have heard an answer to this yet.
I know a little about the history of this valley, and it wasn't about wine. I'll have to miss this once in a lifetime celebration. If you're thinking of what this town would look like if the wine business was not here as you have stated, you may examine your thoughts. There's a lot more going for us than just wine.
You are asking why Pioneer Park (and the Aviary) has not — or couldn’t be — more prominent in tourism promo dialogue? Because wine is not in the birds diet.
I agree with Schuelaw...Charter says they have a lot of choices. The only choices I see are expensive, more expensive and extremely expensive. Rate hikes all the time. How about those boxes you now have to have... started out from $4.99 to $5.99 to now $6.99. and don't forget to read all the fine print!
Well said Mr. Jerald...I think you should write more letters to the editor...maybe even have your own column!
'Barracuda' and 'I'm Just sayin' are absolutely correct. Thank you for clarifying this to our readers.
I agree with barracuda 100%. I am glad someone felt the same. There needs to be a representative that is more respectful of others opinions. Administsration and the superintendent should not allow this type of behavior. This is not good representation for not only Wa-hi but for the entire Walla Walla school dictrict. Shame on them for allowing this to go on so long.
FYI...College Place did have a previous Bond and was paid off by 2012. They then ran the New High School/New Davis Bond.
