Awesome. I had no idea that people still banned books. Especially for the grievous offense of using 'words "we do not speak in our home.”' Gosh, perhaps they should just home school their kid to guarantee they only experience one view of the world. Way to be Meridian!
He was 21. An adult. Are you going to make everyone wear a helmet in every situation? I was in a riding accident where wearing a helmet saved my life. I also fell once climbing b/c my helmet was in the way - it put me about 1/2 too far away from a hold on a rock. I never wear a helmet when riding my bike. It is personal choice and I don't think it should be a law since you not wearing a helmet is not putting other's lives at risk. The elderly fall often and injure themselves; you gonna make them wear a helmet every day of their lives?
So...do tax payers know they are paying for birth control. What would the Christian right say?
I thought Jim Dumont already bought a lawn tractor for Parks with the aviary money?
I love this article
So....once you evaluate it, what are you going to do about it?
I think everyone understands that higher math has a purpose, but a purpose for a very small group of people though it gets forced on the general population. No one is expecting rocket scientists not to use it, but I have to say that I did all my calc and physics in high school and have not had a practical use for 99.9% of it. My high school made us take 4 years of math and at least one of those years had to be AP calc. gag - it was miserable. Those teachers kept saying that this math lays the foundation of our universe, but seriously, I don't need to do a proof to show how an airplane flies to be ok with being in one. :P
I am totally pro-flower basket and support WW Tourism for sponsoring them. The hanging flower baskets do make the downtown look nice which makes it a place people want to be. A place generally has to present an attractive face to attract the type of tourists here for wine.
I totally support closing this loophole and hope the government is successful in its efforts to expand it to include all 2nd 'homes', not just yachts. 2nd homes are luxury items and should not receive tax breaks across the board.
So why is Washington having such a problem figuring this out if Colorado isn't and our laws passed at the same time?
