Sgt. Blackman. Good luck in your future. You were a credit to the uniform and your service to the citizens of Walla Walla County was commendable.
Turner is not a law enforcement officer. He runs the Sheriff’s Office like a CEO. He doesn’t confer with people who have twice the experience, rather he forces people out, makes a hostile work environment and hires his relatives and command staff relatives over and above applicants with twice the experience.
A real law man would know that you cannot get along with everybody but would acknowledge that for the betterment of the citizens he would keep them on for their experience.
I read that he is having another fund raiser. I guess the 71k and the 1% tax increase he cost the County is not enough to keep his relatives employed.
Great news. Lets keep it going.
I also agree with Mr. Bolster. I have given firearms as gifts to my children, as many of us had been given firearms by our parents. Will the State put in money to hire office personal to help with the paper work of the transfer? I doubt it. But I guess what I would see as really unnerving, is seeing people carry all sorts of firearms into the Sheriff’s office or police station to have the serial numbers checked. That will give the heebie-jeebees to law enforcement. I believe the vote is Wednesday. Calling Rep. Walsh and voicing my opinion, will be done tomorrow.
Exactly. Well said.
