Sadly, there are MANY facts that warrant arrest. They have just been carried out inside the prison/home the boy lives in and not witnessed by others. Consider this: young man, good student (for the most part), no criminal history, vert active in JROTC, as well as other school clubs. Why would simply telling him he cannot spend the afternoon visiting his brother (who was able to escape a few years ago), and his grandparents cause such a violent reaction? Did Gerrod call grandma and grandpa and tell them the child was not allowed at the game? When he arrived to take said child, home, did he explain to gma & gpa that child was told he could not attend? He isnt required to, but maybe had he used some tact and a slightly different approach, he would have had support from the grandparents and this could have been avoided.
Did anyone ask grandma and grandpa if they knew whether or not the young man was to be at the game? My understanding is that he wasnt sure, so he went, called home as soon as he got there.
Isn't the swim area closed for e-coli??
I love you and miss you grandma.
As they did with the transportation/maintenance building, and technology levy (years ago), the district will/can do it anyway. The 2 levies I mentioned were DENIED by voters, but miraculously happened anyhow.
Way to go Mr. Eggart. The animal is gorgeous and your hard work paid off. Glad to see people still "working" for their food!
So.....more reasons and excuses of the young people of Walla Walla to head out of town for their needs, while encouraging more alcoholic intake. It is no wonder the teenagers in our town have so much trouble finding work...the wineries and tasting rooms require a minimum age of 21, what are the 16 year olds supposed to do? Ugh. Don't get me wrong I will not miss this particular store one little bit, I do however feel saddened by the loss of a place for something other than wine.
My prayers to the Boyd family. What a tragic and painful loss. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
I wish Codi the best of luck, but it seems as if he got off pretty easy. They dropped the charges of DV, unlawful imprisonment, hindering a person trying to call 911. I just wish he could move on, and then keep going until he hits another state.
This makes me ill. With all of the bad things going on in town, it pains me that the city wasted valuable time and money on this. It could have and should have been handeled very differently by ALL involved. Permission PRIOR to the painting, some thought into what is really important, many many things could have been different.
