NewInWW. Just a couple of questions requesting your response.

  1. Being a minority do you believe that the Boston Bomber was given a fair trial and a fair sentence?

  2. Termination of a pregnancy in the second trimester: would you consider that it is murder or an abortion?

NewInWW - If you read my first post on this letter you will see my response on the Bundy issue.

Your hypothetical of classifying certain races for certain situations is a non-starter. VampireNinja is correct - your trying to insinuate that it takes a certain race to get themselves shot by threatening another person of a different race? I guess we could run hypotheticals all day long and never come up with a solution.

If the minority is legally carrying a weapon what would be the reason for weighing in on what issue? If it is a criminal person (Black, Latino, Asian or White) carrying a weapon and brandishing it in a threatening manner - shoot for self-defense.

This letter writer indicates that the NRA is the only organization that renounces or lobby's politicians. Also, this letter writers facts are clearly skewered in the numbers for monies that sponsored I-594. The outside money for this legislation was in the millions. The contributor's include Bloomberg - Gates:

Apparently without the race issue some people wouldn't have much to discuss? It seems that the Democrats themselves have become racist against there own President:

To start the Cliven Bundy revolt was when the government was taking his cattle they posted 200 sharpshooters on a ridge ready to take out anyone that tried to stop them. When Mr. Bundy's supporters found this out was when they all moved in and stood there ground.

Cliven Bundy had been sold down the river by none other than Harry Reid. The Government has gained control of over 86% of the land in the state of Nevada under his watch. For ranchers this has been a detriment for years trying to feed cattle and fight to get grazing permits. A number of years ago the Sagebrush Rebellion was in the forefront trying to regain land back to the State but with little effect because of the infamous Harry Reid. The obesity of the government will be the eventual downfall of this country if not put on hold. That will only happen when this incompetent Administration is relieved of duty and replaced.

Thanking me is not necessary. I served my country for freedom.

I do agree with your post and I have gotten a little snarky at times:)

barracuda - Just to set the story straight - Paco/Chicoli/Dr Carlos Acevedo - does not have a clue on What, Where or When I served in the military or on my life. I served my tour of duty 55 years ago with 4 years active and 2 years standby reserve. Of that time I spent 18 months overseas and then returned state side. When I write my autobiography I will inform Mr Acevedo where he can purchase a copy.

One item that has come up and quite adamantly at that is the lack of his knowledge of any type of weapons. Unless if they have changed the entry training into the military (enlisted/ROTC) weapons was one of the first exercises exclusively for self-defense. How could one possibly slip by this exercise? Also if one is dealing with weapons related injuries wouldn't one get to know the types of weapons that created the wounds? After years of repetitive indulgence one would think it would become second nature and one could spot the cause of the wound or the type of weapon? So many questions and so few answers . . . . . . .

That being said, I have never tried to sell myself on my military service as the infamous Paco/Chicoli/Dr Acevedo has. I am proud to have served my country and I believe in the good ole' United States of America! I respect everyone of my brothers and sisters in the military and pray for them on "Armed Forces Day"! I fly the American flag proudly and Patriotism is the forefront of America and will survive!

Criticism is only valid when presented by a viable source. Your commentary ethics suffer from mindless atrophy. Have a nice life in your delusions and falsehoods.
