To extend the comment from above here is another column that indicates not only the cost of energy increases but the loss of employment in the minority sectors. Destroying the economy and the jobs market for nothing more than trying to control Mother Nature is a little eccentric.

Interesting article. The problem being that the funds arriving for that country never get to the source to cure the problem. If you read Mr. Singleton's post below explains the issue a lot better than I can.

My point was that coal fired power plants have been updated to clean production and keep updating every opportunity. Use the resources at the country's disposal and work on green energy to put it into a cost effective resource. These windmills are nothing but eyesores on the countryside with little input for energy.

Why would a billionaire environmentalist that has spent billions trying to destroy the use of fossil fuels all of a sudden be intent on purchasing coal stocks that have been driven down in price by the government? Sounds fishy to me or was this the object all along.

Dr Martin Luther King is turning over in his grave. The group just starting up is nothing more than a thuggery protest organization. Here are a couple of links from the niece of Dr King, Alveda King:

As usual you present a lame post that leaves the answer in the wind. Your constant dribble on racism and discrimination is nothing but a scapegoat for your accusations with no history to base it on.

?: Who and Where do these exist:

"This action would curtail fossil fuel consumption by raising some energy prices, making alternative energy sources rise in their demand, and making more tax revenue, which will be direly needed to help out communities and individuals who have been hardest hit by the effects of climate change."

This letter sounds like a redistribution of wealth and has no basis on where climate change enters into this issue. Maybe it's the combination of facts that is baffling?

Now if fossil fuels are the issue of Climate Change why would the Progressive Liberal environmentalist be buying up stocks? Oh - the President drove the stocks down.

NewInWW - through your own ideology are you trying to justify your racism and discriminating actions by trying to place the blame on others? No surprises there.

When using the statistics take out the gun-free zones and the stats fall apart. The higher gun deaths originate in the cities with the strictest gun control laws.

You can post all of the analogies that you wish to extrapolate but your acrimony shows that my posts are correct. Do you understand this?
