paco1234 1 day, 4 hours ago on Letter - Initiative is way to get rid of guns

Fear mongering does not help, my friend. You need to educate yourself by reading the last second amendment supreme court interpretation. Such interpretation by Justice Scalia ( hardly a liberal) spells out the limitation of ownership of guns, as a responsible citizen.

About Australia and England, their citizens have the right to own guns...after proper registration. So far their government had not been "tyrannical" as you mentioned. But if you "own" a gun by falsifying documents or making straw purchases they will take your gun away. This is the law here but they take action, we in the US don't.

By registering your car you're already in the government registers many times over, anyway. So, what'.s the big deal?

We liberals are not the Government. We could care less if you keep your guns or not, and as I assume you're a good citizen you should nor fear at all. But it bathers the heck out of me if someone that is not fit to own a gun gets one...or more than one. And this should bather you too!

In Israel almost all citizens have guns, and they carry them everywhere. Israelis have the more strict gun registration on earth. You must wait 6 months to a year for a permit. But if they catch you cheating you're in big, deep trouble...including prison time, and denial of a permit for life. Now, this is real gun control!

Senator Maccain was rescued from a secured death by drowning by a bunch of Mahayana Buddhist. He was very fortunate, indeed!

What a relief, Pearl. I'm so glad that my investments in Cayman Islands, The Bahamas, and my deposits in Switzerland (Banks) are not online due to being "protected" by USA laws! About my letters/ postings to the editor, I just keep them anonymous, under paco1234.

The Supreme Court, and the conservative establishment, has always voted for "plutocracy" (government by the wealthy) and such loaded government is OK with them; as opposed to voting for government by the people and for the people!

The general public must be heard! Please sign Initiative 1329!

Mr. Herrera, did you read what dogman12 is suggesting? Let's do something meaningful sooner rather than later!!

Under such circumstances as presented by dogman12, the taste of beer is rather bitter!

Walla Walla might be creating a case for "prosecutorial laziness and indifference", not a good reputation at this time in its history. As Mr. Herrera is hinting at the possibility of justice indifference towards members of the Hispanic community, some comments of reassurance to the contrary by the Prosecuting Attorney's office is in order.

I personally believe that this is hopefully not the case, the case of prosecutorial indifference, indeed. As we say in Puerto Rico "I decidedly don't believe in the Devil, but I will lit a candle...just in case".

One important aspect of unsafe driving is the presence of sleep deprivation. Young and healthy, these kids exhaust themselves with long hours studying, sometimes partying good and heavy, as many of us did. Subjectively they feel they can drive, but after their first nodding off from real tiredness, it might be too late! Obviously these circumstances apply to adults as well. The older you are, the more serious it gets!

Parents, students and teachers awareness about causes of sleep deprivation is a must. It is, actually good preventive medicine.

Thanks for being fair...and balance. No one with a pre existing condition will be denied humane health insurance, ever! There will be no cap on the amount of insurance provided. The ACA preventive medicine program is amazing. The healthier our population gets, the more money we all save. All children are now covered at perpetuity

Who on earth could possibly be against these, incredibly benevolent human rights for all Americans!
