(I say that because, I don't think you were eager to use deadly force on someone in a deminished capacity and he was returned to Canada, where maybe he received proper tratment). You obviously don't live in some fantasy land where you can make up rights such as the right to "domestic tranquility". Skew history by ignoring the CivilWar involved firearms in freedom of slavery and that the Temperence movement was a total failure that only seemed to gain power to the modern gangster. By the way domestic tranquility is a goal not a right. I know that for a fact because I've been married over thirty years:)

This letter is just confusing. I would like to know how the NRA would profit from armed security in a school. They offered a suggestion. Your letter insinuates that only women nurture, care for and worry about their children and other peoples children.

paco- Just because you use a word that you know in a sentence does not mean that you are showing some sort of superior intelligence. In regards to the subject at hand I have a solution called enforce the laws already on the books and deal with the mentally ill. By the way what type of armor does a scenarian wear?

The red flag for me was the hireing of an architect. Why would you hire an architect for a renovation? Apparently the well educated leaders of the WWSD don't know the first thing about construction projects. Grand Central Station was designed and initial construction was overseen by an architect. After it was completed the architect was done. If a renovation included extra bathrooms, sinks or elctrical it was overseen by a civil engineer to ensure the strucural integrity was maintained and the work was completed by contractors, electricians, plumbers, etc.

Civilian models of the M-16, Ak-47, etc. do not have strafe capability and around 20 years ago the selector switch for the M-16 was even changed to three round burst to increase accuracy and ammo conservation in a firefight. The semi-automatic rifles such as the AR-15 have the benefit of a quicker follow-up shot on the animal then say a bolt action. In other words if you are aiming at the heart and the animal moves or you just miss and need a hasty follow-up to prevent the prey from crawling away then you don't want to be working a bolt and trying to re-aquire the target. Semi- autos correct that deficency and ultimately may show more mercy then having a gut shot animal suffer a prolonged death.

It was drilled into you to respect other peoples property? So what is your profound delusional interest in my weapons or what type of rifle I prefer to take to the range. Or for that matter what type of paper target I prefer to use? When you say an assault rifle is not a target precision weapon are you saying that the AR-15 is not accurate. Most Ar style sights are accurate to within .97th of an inch at 200 yards and the heft as you call it is around 8.5lbs fully loaded. By the way the military designates the M-16, the military version of the AR-15 as a point of aim, point of impact weapon meaning if you put it on a secure bench it will fire one round on top of the other unless outside influences are involved such as wind.

Every officer I ever knew that started out enlisted counted the Good Conduct Medal as their favorite, because officers can't earn it. All I did Paco was state that the MSM was pretty much given out for exactly what it was, the Meritorious SERVICE Medal. You are the one jumping onto some sort of race card game. I didn't know you were Puerto Rican, nor does that matter to me.
