"'The attacks on SB 1062 ... represent precisely why so many people are sick of the modern political debate,' Herrod wrote in a weekend posting on the group's website. 'Instead of having an honest discussion about the true meaning of religious liberty, opponents of the bill have hijacked this discussion through lies, personal attacks, and irresponsible reporting" Classic agitprop. Shout your lies louder than the debunkers, and most importantly get your scurrilous and misleading agitprop into the papers before, because you know that most people only read the headline if that. You have to give credit where credit is due and this guy is good at his job. Too bad his job is destructive of the fabric of our society.
So Doc, several years ago the state that YOU REPRESENT did something that in your opinion was rather reprehensible, and for that reason you are holding up food aid to millions of needy, Americans. This is not impressive.
One who is homeless, ill-fed, in poor health or friendless does have more immediate concerns. But most of us are currently free of those issues. And some will be wealthy or lucky enough to escape the impact of our careless and short-sighted treatment of our world. Does that mean that we can just go merrily on our way without a care, without any concern for those we allow to fall by the wayside?
For myself, I cannot ignore the fact that those who ignore the prolem make it worse, and that we are the ones who will make the world our children must live with.
Sad that bike lane is incompatible with 4 lane design. I doubt that squeezing traffic to insert bike lane (and allow parking, from what I have learned elsewhere) will make biking any safer there. More likely a place to be avoided, like Main Street.
Do your own research. You are obviously not well read in this field. Try sciencenews.org, the American Association for the Advance of Science (AAAS), or a good college library. I think there are at least two of the latter in the immediate area. Study animal behavior. Most of your contentions are emotional appeals and have no factual basis.
