Another attempt to try and make himself look good in the publics eye. What about all the unfair labor suits pending with employee's. That should be real interesting. Wonder what else will; come up.
RE: IM Just Saying: Not sure where you get your information from, but apparently you must be the one who continues to get thrown under the bus, and still can't figure that out. As to disgruntled employees, there appear to be several, and only a handful who can't seem to see the light. Most of the citizens of Walla Walla have figured it out. Most citizens are upset with all the bad publicity the sheriff's office is receiving. It seems every day something else comes up, which continues to raise questions about the sheriff's office. May be one of these days the situation will get straightened out.
I think Mr. Donavan should rethink his statements, and get the truth before making these type of statements. May be the UB should refuse to print anything He has submitted.
Ref: Wallanative: If what you said was true about Turner holding the employees accountable for doing their job, Then why are two of the worst productive people still working there. A matter of fact both are sergeants, and are turners puppets. When will you figure it out.
I certainly hope the citizens of Walla Walla County have seen the light on Mr Turner. It's time we send him packin. He has done no good for the citizens or employee's of Walla Walla. I praise Mr Cooper for standing up to him.
ImJustSayin: it's very obvious that you do not know what you are talking about. You can't get the truth from the Sheriff. His truth changes on a moments notice, and depending on who he's trying buffalo.
It's very sad to see the Sheriff's Office so divided over issues, concerning staff. It appears to be getting worse all the time. First it was with Bill White, and Chad Pederson, and now Barry Blackman. I see that Chad has since left the department that He so much enjoyed working for, before Turner was elected. Now Turner brings in another former LAPD officer to add to the turmoil. This must be another campaign pledge that Turner made to King, since King suposedly contributed to Turner's campaign. As to all the Turner supporters, including Barry Blackman, who didn't see the handwritting on the wall, when Turner was running for office. Now may be these people and many more will realize that was a bad decision. It's also quite interesting that Turner said He couldn't comment on employee issues, concerning Barry. But He had no problem smearing Bill White a few months ago. The past two years must have been pure hell for the employee's of the Sheriff's Office. The next two will be even worse.
Ms Walsh needs to wake up. Her proposal is not solving any issues what so ever. What it will do is create another burden on law enforcement thru out the state. I hope the folks in Olympia, are smart enough to axe this proposal.
Ms Perkins mother inlaw of Chris Blackman: Tell me why we would vote your daughter inlaw into office. The only thing that she has demonstrated is that for she is not finanacialy responsible, with her personal affairs. why would we want her as an elected offical. She has indicated that she would drop the reserves down to ten percent, and would prefer layoffs instead of furloughs. Now tell me that make good sense. I think not!!!!
