wallyworldguy 7 months, 1 week ago on State legislature candidate Q&A - Terry Nealey vs. Frank Blair

We, as a state, need to find new revenue streams .

really mr Blair, What say we find a way to reduce spending in this state. start by looking at the wasted money in over paying state workers, by getting rid of the number of sick days allowed. no rolling them over in to the next year. not being able to "cash" them out at retirement, etc etc. Cut the pensions to a reasonable amount. Why is it that when the tax payer is footing the bill there is no limit to what they can have. Federal and state employees should not have large unions since the tax payers don't have any say in the negotiations. Yep, your a Democrat alright.

Erin, I can't help but wonder what the reason is for you writing the letter that you wrote. What I mean is you had to be have been able to comprehend the fact that when he made that comment he was not referring to the job. But referring to the fact that for him it was a demotion. And that demotion was humiliating to him. Not the job itself. For you to spin it the way you did leads me to believe there's another reason for your letter. One, You are a Turner fan and you're just looking for a way to smear the competition, or two you just found this to be a good way to kiss turners butt. I think most 10-year-olds would comprehend what Cooper meant when he made that comment. A receptionist job there or anywhere else for that matter is a perfectly good satisfying job and important job. I think you need to put on your big girl pants and just get on with your life and keep doing your job as best you can. Personally I wouldn't vote for Turner or Cooper either one. I don't think we have anybody in the running that is worth voting for, and I don't think that anyone working in that department should be putting out the kind of message that you put out in your little letter it shows immaturity and a lack of responsibility and respect.

President Obama was unable to attend because the U.S. was in complete economic shutdown.

Translation; he was too busy planning his fund raising schedule during a round of golf.

went to his web site, funny that he doesn't declare his affiliation. Dem, republican, or independent.

yes, 35 million customers who's premiums are paid by the tax payers, the working class. Now we (the working people) get to pay higher rates and pay for others as well.

no, a president who doesn't know his butt from his mouth, and who wouldn't know how to run a lemonade stand feeds US dysfunction.

That's one of the problems of bringing the sheriff or any other elected official in from somewhere else. They bring their big-city attitudes and big-city ways with them. Why does the sheriff need to bring a big-time advertising outfit in to run his campaign or a video outfit in to video tape. Seems to me if Turner wanted video, it should have been agreed upon before the forum and it should have been done by a third party. I don't know any of the candidates on a personal level, but just knowing that Turner is handling these things the way he is reminds me too much of, oh, I don't know, that big-city corrupt politician kind of way of doing business. smaller cities like Walla Walla don't need to go outside the area to hire people to fill positions, I firmly believe in promoting from within and leaving the big city people with their big-city ideas where there at.
