For $1525, you'd think they would have done a better job at painting over the mural. The outline of the rainbow and octopus are evident through the new paint, and they totally missed the side edges and beneath the overhang where the previous paint is still showing. We hope the city doesn't consider this a job well done.

Our tax dollars at work... every time Bob refuses to comply with the existing sign code, it costs the city, therefore the taxpayers, money. Money that could - and should - be spent on other priorities. This new concern is simply the same: he wants to get away with what he knew was breaking the law when he made the current mural commissioned. I like the mural, especially more than the previously plain white wall. But that is not what this is about; it's about if he - not others - broke the law by violating current city ordinance.
