Better explanations needed
I can't speak to the legality of the RLD board's decision to walk away from any effort to cooperate with the Walla Walla Public Library. But the library public deserves a better explanation of the RLD board's decision-making.
Library plans not justified
I wish the RLD board had held a public meeting back in June to explain their plans, and why they decided not to follow the plan offered its consultant gave us last year. The best solution is the one Walla Walla taxpayers have already paid for: Annex the WWPL into the RLD.
